Sage 100 version 2024.1 released
Sage 100 version 2024 has been released. Below are some of the features/changes Sage has included with Sage 100 version 2024.
Accounts Payable:
New fields for 1099 Individual Forms: First, Middle and Last Name fields for individuals
Vendor Date-Established field is recorded when vendor created.
You can retain taxpayer ID/SSN for non-1099 vendors.
Fixed issue with running AP Cash Requirements Report and selecting an AP_Vendor UDF value in
the selection screen.
Inventory:
New tasks for Deleting warehouses and Change/Merging Warehouses
Fixed “Error 11 SY_Selection.pvc 744” when clicking inside Selection section in Physical Count

Inventory Requirements Planning:
Explode Bill without Production Management Integration.
Demands are now consolidated for the same item when creating a work-ticket or purchase-order to stock. Allows you to create one work-ticket or purchase-order for multiple demands on the same item.
In Item Detail window, the default Make-To field is based on item’s procurement type.
Items-to-Produce / Items-to-Purchase window, you can increase quantity beyond the quantity recommended.
If item has a price-level set and you change the production/purchase quantity, the Unit Cost fields is updated.
When creating work-ticket or purchase-order to stock, IRP will use the earliest demand date as the date-required.
Option to Explode Phantom Bills added to IRP options.
Library Master:
New option for Restricted mode allows you to limit users who can log into Sage 100.
Purchase Orders:
Clear-Back-Order option to close partially received PO’s.
Received Status field for Purchase Orders for displaying on PO reports.
Line comments are no longer missing from auto-generated Purchase Order from Sales Order
Production Management:
View Quantity Remaining in Materials Where-Used Inquiry.
Sales Order:
Apply G/L Account to Credit Memo when recalling invoice from history.
You can select G/L sales-account from history or the sales-return account
“Tax class is missing from tax code” no longer appears when changing the Sales Tax Schedule on a Sales Order Invoice, when the first line on the sales order is /C.
Improvements to Delete and Change Utilities for A/P, A/R and I/M:
You can access info when data entry is in progress. The Delete/Change file checking occurs when clicking the Proceed button.
Entity name: Vendor/customer/item description displays for start/ending codes on renumber selection screens.
